New Brunswick companies are poised for success when it comes to exporting modular components. It has the infrastructure, the workforce and the supporting services and supply chain. With a public access barge terminal, two ports with infrastructure to support the movement of project cargo, existing and new modular fabrication facilities, and fabricators with track records of successfully delivering on mega projects.
Lower Cove and Long Wharf Terminals: suitable for a variety of cargoes including; dry bulk, break bulk, and project cargo.
Pier-side Modular Fabrication Building: can handle the most complex fabrication and project cargo needs.
Spruce Lake Barge terminal : designed to accommodate the heavy lifting or movement of large scale modular fabrications such as pressure vessels, pipe racks and turbines to name a few. Access to domestic and export markets are readily available from the Barge facility with a tidal draft on the Bay of Fundy. The shipping or receiving of oversize modules happens with ease at Spruce Lake.
