New Brunswick Modular Fabrication and Project Cargo Research Project

Enterprise Saint John (ESJ) and its key stakeholders, Port Saint John, Develop Saint John, Opportunities NB, Port of Belledune and Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency have established a task force to investigate, develop and promote the establishment of a centre of excellence in modular fabrication (Mod Fab) and project cargo handling in the Province of New Brunswick. The taskforce invites firms to submit a proposal to undertake a project in support of these efforts. This project shall have the following key outcomes:

  1. The taskforce shall gain a thorough understanding of the main participants in this sector,  including their key strengths, capacity, capability, quality assurance certification, safety record and experience at the general contractor level.
  1. The taskforce shall also gain a better understanding of the New Brunswick based logistics and supply chain for this sector at the subcontractor and supplier levels.
  1. The taskforce shall have a list of the above companies with key contact information to be used as a tool by the industry partners.

Green Energy Opportunities Research Project

Enterprise Saint John (ESJ) and its key stakeholder partners have established a task force to investigate develop and promote the establishment of a centre of excellence in the green energy sector in the Saint John Region with particular emphasis on the areas of advanced manufacturing and modular fabrication (Mod Fab). ESJ invites firms to submit proposals to undertake a project in support of these efforts. This project shall have the following key outcomes:

  1. The taskforce shall gain a thorough understanding of the current market conditions and subsequent opportunities in this industry sector.
  1. The taskforce shall have a better understanding of the competitive advantage of Saint John as a fabrication centre for green energy projects.
  1. The taskforce shall have a list of planned or potential projects with key contact information to be used as a lead generation tool by the industry partner.
